Putting eyebrow make-up is a battle for me. I am no makeup expert. Period.

When I heard about eyebrow embroidery, I thought that this could be an option for me so I did my own research about this trend. She walked me through the process and addressed any concerns I had before the procedure. She helped me better understand the types of procedures, especially, making that important decision in choosing the type of procedure preferred: 6D, powder brows, or 6D+powder brows.

I opted for powder brows. Impressively, my brows were evenly drawn by Mary Ann in no time. It's essential to wisely choose the proper shape/arch, thickness, length, and shade that complement my face shape and features. Mary Ann knew exactly what would look best on me. After “drafting” my brows, she applied topical anesthesia and that made pain one less thing to worry about. I felt the pricks but it’s not painful. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The entire process took about two hours.

It’s crucial that the post-care guidelines are followed. Mary Ann would constantly follow-up with me days, and even weeks, after getting the procedure done to make sure that everything goes well and that I follow the precautions consistently, such as avoid wetting, rubbing, and scratching my brows to prevent unnecessary scarring and infection. After a couple of weeks, I came back to Modern Brows Studio for a re-touch. Touch ups are common process to check and fill-in light shaded areas of the brows. This is offered free of charge.
